We age Saratoga Maple Syrup in a used bourbon barrel to make Bourbon Maple Syrup and then whip it into a cream. The barrel aging process leaves behind the perfect amount of bourbon flavor and richness to complement the sweetness of the syrup. Bourbon Maple Cream has a creamy, spreadable, butter-like consistency and is made through a process of natural crystallization. There is nothing in our Bourbon Maple Spread other than pure maple syrup and some trace amounts of alcohol that are left behind in the barrel.
Bourbon Maple Cream is perfect for spreading on English muffins, toast, or even on a grilled cheese with bacon and green apples. One of our favorite ways to use Bourbon Maple Cream is to spread it on a hamburger!
